My dear friend Myriam is a genius at collecting botanical bits for an impromptu floral arrangement. The still life arrangements she creates are always beautiful, but even more, they possess a kind of innate message about perfectionism and worthiness. Her floral arrangements say, “I do not need to be the rose or the dahlia, nor would I want to be. I am the gift of imperfection. All I need be is me - perfect in my own jumble of me-ness, in my element, in the moment, and here for the beauty of being alive in this chaotic, astonishing world.
