Caprese Salad

I have had a bitch of a week. Sick kids, snow days, dental work, huge medical bills - it's a long list. However, last night my house mate and resident culinary genius (Kellen) made mozzarella from scratch. Then he put it on fresh heirloom tomatoes with basil leaves and topped it off with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, sea salt and ground pepper. It was just what the doctor ordered. I took a photo for posterity.
