Every year I do a little recap on New Year's Eve - a sort of celebration of all that has transpired. I love the energetic push that comes after Christmas. Everyone is looking forward and turning a new leaf. Its been a year filled with surprises and I'm grateful for every one. Thank you, dear readers, for being a part of this online community!

ONE

My husband and I began the year with a quick trip to Mexico.

TWO

I spoke at the Texas State Capital to the Senate Budget Committee at a Medicaid hearing on behalf of children with disabilities.

I started selling my artwork on Redbubble. So many great products!

FOUR

I was published in this "She Sheds", a wonderful coffee table book by Erika Kotite.

FIVE

I wrote and photographed this unique home in Halfway, OR for Houzz.

SIX

I launched my PATREON site, where my work can be supported via monthly pledges from patrons!

SEVEN

I hosted two Open Studio events this year - one in the spring and one in the fall.

EIGHT

My play, LENI, was produced this spring at Aurora Theatre Co. in Berkeley, CA.

NINE

I made this video about my art commission process.

TEN

Tried something really scary - live impromptu painting during Easter services at First UU Dallas.

ELEVEN

I moved into a new studio in the Continental Gin Building - Deep Ellum, TX.

TWELVE

I had a solo art exhibition in Denton, Texas focused on a series called DAYSPRING.

THIRTEEN

I did an interview with Squam Art Workshops.

FOURTEEN

My family and I stayed at my mother's farm in Eastern Oregon for the month of June.

FIFTEEN

I threw my first ever piece of pottery.

SEVENTEEN

I spent the fall semester as the Outdoor Learning Coordinator in a school garden that I helped found in 2014. It was such fun working with the fabulous kids at Skyview Elementary.
