Interpretation: There is no time-frame on your healing. Nor must you explain yourself. Only you know how to best walk the road before you. The process of putting back together the broken pieces of your heart is honorable and difficult work. No one gets to tell you to “move on” or “hurry up”. You are doing exactly what needs to be done. Take all the time you need.

Deeper Resonance: Exhaustion, sleepless nights, and overwork seem to be the calling cards of the modern era. Our bodies are out of sync with nature and our creativity feels stagnant. In this image, I’ve depicted a Muse, tired and aching from overuse. This artwork was created as a visual reminder to rest.
