Interpretation: Stories make us what we are and teach us how to live. And the best way to understand each other and foster empathy is to hear each other’s stories. Stories have an alchemical effect – you speak your truth and it spurs others to courageously share their own narratives. What have you been longing to reveal? What buried truth must you excavate or resuscitate? This card invites you to examine your lived experience and own the lessons learned, the wisdom gained, and the truth of your reality. Your story matters because it is uniquely yours. Trust that we are ready to listen.

Deeper Resonance: In the hierarchy of Christian angels, a Seraph is an angel standing in the presence of God. Seraphim is plural: a body of angels in the presence of God. This piece was created in the wake of 2017 Women’s March on Washington. I believe that when someone stands both in the center of their lived truth and their own accountability, we should receive their message with reverence and bowed heads.
