Interpretation: You do not have to do this on your own. There are friends, partners, and comrades ready to support you in this work. You may not know who they are, but they are there. Ask for help. Reveal yourself. Befriend your vulnerability. Seek guidance. Allow your community to take on some of the weight of this burden. All things can be faced when we have the support we need.

Deeper Resonance: This piece was created for the 2017 Women’s March in Washington. Entitled “Uprising”, this artwork is a meditation on sharing our narratives as a means for collective healing.
